Brenda Lowe, founder of Paddleboard Miami, has a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and has reached a wide audience as a Miami Dolphins Cheerleader for two years and also a television model for a national Hispanic game show. A past contestant on the hit CBS show Survivor where her title was the “Paddleboard Company Owner”, Brenda lives in Miami and spends her time with friends and clients on her paddleboards.

Candice "Waterwoman" Appleby, a Professional Ocean Athlete, grew up in California and learned to surf at age 9. At 17, after graduating from San Clemente High, she moved to Hawaii to go to College and pursue a surfing career. For the past seven years she has made Hawaii her home and the place to work and lived the surfer’s life.

Karen Mirlenbrink has been paddling competitively on anything that floats since 1999. Being a water baby from Florida, she is attracted to the “one-bladed” sports such as outrigger and stand up paddleboarding. Her surfski experience has allowed her to be a great water-reader, a strong open and rough water paddler, and an excellent strategic competitor. Karen holds a degree in Exercise Science from USF, is a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and owns a Pilates Studio in her hometown of Dunedin, FL where she created "SUPilates" a program that teached Pilates on the Paddleboard.

Helga Goebel is a Stand up Paddle racer from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This year she took 1st at SUP Splash, Quicksilver/Kam Islander Classic Race, Orange Bowl Paddle Championships, Komona Paddle, Key West Paddleboard Classic 12 mile and the Florida State Championship.
